Matthias Frank joined DFMSim in January 2006 as vice president, software development and chief architect.

Before DFMSim, Mr. Frank was founder and CEO of BlueLine AG, a provider of engineering software solutions to the semiconductor industry.  In 2000, he co-founded itemic AG and spent three years as COO leading the software engineering team.  From 1998-2000, he worked at Infineon Technologies, where he was responsible for tool automation activities in the lithography department.  While at Infineon, he was also involved in the development of automation and analysis software solutions.  Mr. Frank began his career as a software developer at Open Mind Software Technologies.

Mr. Frank earned a diploma in software engineering from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
